The author graduated from King Edward Medical College, Lahore, Pakistan in 1980 with outstanding academic credentials of the year. He did his MRCP from London, the UK in 1986 and was awarded FRCP from London, UK, and FRCP from Edinburgh, Scotland, the UK in 1999 and 2000 respectively. He has been actively involved in teaching under and postgraduate medical students and helping them in organizing their examinations.
